PhD Funding

Funded PhD opportunities are available through university and external scholarship schemes (e.g., EPSRC). Please check the relevant calls for details.

• Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Doctoral Landscape Scholarship. EPSRC provides funding to support research and training in engineering and the physical sciences. For further information, please refer here.

• China Scholarship Council (CSC) PhD scholarship. This scheme provides academically excellent Chinese students with the opportunity to study for a PhD at the University of Glasgow. The scholarships are supported jointly by the China Scholarship Council and the University of Glasgow.

  • In order to be considered for this scholarship you must apply for postgraduate research at Glasgow by the end of January each year to allow time for your offer to be processed by Apply.
